Recent I did a small graphics design cousre at an adult college in London and the main project for the course was to design 4 V&A book covers.
Creating the fashion cover
I took the tutu I wanted from the meusum website and placed it on a dancer image found via google search.
I then printed the image and traced over the lined i wanted.
After I scanned the image in and adjusted the threshold to make the lines solid black in order to colour the image.
Once done the image was fidddle with to fit best around the logo and title.
I found a photo of the vase on the V&A website and printed it off, to be traced.
Once traced image was scaned in the threshold and added shading by using an low opacity brush.
I then deplocated the layer and made one of the layers flip horizontal. Lastly I placed the title and log on the page.
